Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha aren't the same greeting occasion
Eid al-Fitr marks the end of Ramadan and tends to carry a tone of relief and celebration after a month of fasting. Greetings often reference breaking the fast, family reunions, and the joy of the occasion. Eid al-Adha, the "Festival of Sacrifice," falls roughly two months later and is tied to the Hajj pilgrimage. Greetings here more often reference sacrifice, gratitude, and charity alongside the celebration itself.
"Eid Mubarak" works for both, but if you want to be more specific, "Eid Mubarak, may this blessed month's end bring you peace" fits Eid al-Fitr, while something like "Eid Mubarak, may this season of sacrifice and gratitude bring you and your family blessings" fits Eid al-Adha more precisely.
